Saudi businessman sentenced to prison after telling story of violence, pornography and attempted rape

CNN’s Max Foster reports about the crown prince’s prison term for sexual assault, and about his friend. The notorious killer is not a Saudi royal.

The evidence is damning. Late on the night of June 20, 2015, a Lebanese royal family member who was visiting the crown prince discovered him having sexual intercourse with his maid. The palace chieftain called the kingdom’s top crime-fighting official and told him the incident would only put a week’s brake on the military coup unfolding against the king. The regime turned a blind eye to the assault.

On his return to Riyadh, the prince dined with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri. He began bragging about the Gulf Wars and the war in Yemen. He talked about how he had the option to kill the king because he only needed to kill his mind. He openly defamed Hariri, calling him a traitor. Hariri left soon after. Hariri later resigned on Saudi-controlled TV.

Back in the Emirates, a friend of the crown prince decided to bring in a young blonde. He invited his own daughter to meet her. The princess arrived in an innocent black sports car. The prince was fascinated. A photograph was taken. They drank tea and talked, unsupervised by the guards.

The next morning the princess told her family that she had been raped by the crown prince. Her grandmother knew that she had married the Saudi prince. The crown prince disappeared for three days. In the middle of that time, the princess confronted him with a video showing him having sexual intercourse with her maid.

King Salman stripped the prince of his crown. In November, the crown prince was sentenced to three years in prison for the assault and three years for assault with indecent intentions, and for misusing his position to benefit himself, his brothers and their family. He had also been sentenced to five years in prison and 15 lashes for having extramarital sex. His head is clearly shaved. The court heard that this was an act of revenge against Hariri.

The psychological torture will follow his three-year prison sentence, thought to be 90 days long, by means of an AK-47. The psychological damage, however, will last longer.
